 Women’s Wellness Center in Downtown Everett Offers a Complete Approach to Health   

The new Women’s Wellness Center located at 2817 Rockefeller, Everett Washington is a program of the Positive Women’s Network (PWN).  PWN is a non-profit organization that started as an idea by Kerri Mallams, the director, while she was still in college.

What makes the Women’s Wellness Center located in downtown Everett unique isn’t that it offers T’ai Chi Chih® classes, Reiki or Purna Yoga or the fact that they have a Life Coach, a nutritionist and a licensed massage therapist available.  What is unique is that it offers all of these under one roof!  The concept grew from an increasing awareness that it takes more than just exercise to create a healthy lifestyle.  The Center is pioneering this new and refreshing approach to women’s health and can be reached by a quick walk or drive during a lunch break as well as before or after work; great for busy working women.

The Women’s Wellness Center offers an experience beyond the traditional gym, giving women and girls a comfortable and supportive place where they can work together to reach their individual health goals. To facilitate their mission, the Center was designed more like a spa rather than a typical health club.  In addition to the Circuit Training and exercise classes needed for an effective weight management program, a nutritionist and life coaching component are added to approach health issues from a whole-life perspective.

Since 1994, PWN has provided women centered services in the Pacific Northwest.  PWN continues to provide free mammograms and yearly health exams; educational programs and assistance with basic food, and support connecting to other services in the community.
