Natural Health > Feldenkrais MethodAccording to the Feldenkrais® Educational Foundation of North America, the Feldenkrais® method is a form of somatic education that uses gentle movement and directed attention to improve movement and enhance human functioning. It was developed by Dr. Moshe Feldenkrais (1904 - 1984) and has been practiced worldwide for the last 40 years. Dr. Feldenkrais based his work on the principles of physics, biomechanics and an empirical understanding of learning and human development. Feldenkrais therapies are particularly effective for treating chronic pain resulting from repetitive movements.
